Jaled Dur was a Jedi Master during the days of the Old Republic. Jaled was credited with the creation of the Heart of the Universe, an extraordinary gem that was used to train and teach Jedi Knights. Eventually, the Heart of the Universe fell into the hands of the Dark Jedi Croym, who planned to use the tool for ill will.
